Mural

Dear Chicago Cubs, Never Stop Being You

See that?

That pic above?

It’s on the bricks of Wrigley Field outside the stadium on Waveland Avenue. It was a part of a series of murals commissioned by the Cubs to celebrate the stadium’s 100th anniversary. This particular section celebrates Charles Lindbergh’s visit to Wrigley.

Turns out Lucky was a Cardinals fan through and through, since this was actually a scene at Comiskey Park, not Wrigley Field.

Whoops!

The Cubs are playing today and have yet to announce what they plan to do with the painting. Here’s hoping it has a better fate than Ron Santo’s get well wishes.
